ROADY!

Gotta say BEST TRIP EVER!
Just as good if not better than Bali I must say!

Dont think I have laughed so much EVER than I did last week when we where on our way from Melbourne - Adelaide via the Great Ocean road!
All you readers out there MUST do this trip! It was totally the nicest most BEAUTIFUL drive I think I have ever done!

Plus the Wicked campers we hired out where SICK! They where the best little vans ever!

Beginning -

Frew, Lanz, Emz & I all flew down to Melbourne on Sat 13th at frikon 6:20am with Jetstar, so we where all up and addam at like 4:30 to get ready... only JUST made the cut off, and was up up and away to VIC!

Got to Melbourne, picked up the campers - 3 Stooges & Flames vans - and headed to X-Base! Grabbed the BEST brecky EVER at Turtle Cafe and then hit up the shops and had a little cat nap.

Met up with the Adelaide boys in the night club downstairs for a few wines.. well.. tell a lie.. WAY too many wines, and then went out to celebrate Chris B'DAY at a nice little resturant called Sammys.

Then Frew, Ginge, Benno, Chris, Scotty & I hit up TWISTER!
There was much random dancing, sluring, photo taking and laughing to be had!

Around 4am we headed back to the back packers, and we all crashed in our room waking up Emz & Lanz.. ( sorry girls) and just talking about total crapola.

Sunday, woke up hit up the Vic Markets, had some lunch in the Mall.. cruised around and Lanz, Emz & I went and saw The Wedding Crashers in the Crown Casino. was SO tired!

Sunday night hit up the X-Base night club again and had a few wines with the boys, cruised aroubd town, saw a RAMMING ROOM and the came to be around 11ish...
Monday went to Chatwood, and then headed to Phillip Island to see the Fairy Penguins! SO CUTE! Emz & I got a ride on a golf buggie with hottie hot hot VIC Ranger... while Frew was chatting up another ranger hottie about why the penguins make so much noise... why is that frew?? can you explain that one to us?? ;) hee hee

Went into Cowes and had dinner at a NICE Itallian place and saw Logan Greg win BB05 And found out that Melanie from BB05 worked in the place we where eating! SICK HUH!

Slepted in the vans on the water front ( very romantic) and woke to hit the road down the great Ocean Drive!

Tue - Hit up Bells Beach, Nick and I went into SOME AWESOME surf shops! and cruised down to Apollp Bay for the night where Shananigans where beginning!
We met 2 English chicks.. TOTAL champs, and 2 American dudes! also total champs! Played pool, had the BEST porter house steak EVER and vegies, drank wine, and danced, basically made total fools outta ourselves but man it was funny!
Some random running around on the beach, loosing sunnies, undie ripping and phone charging was had! oneof the best nights! :)

Wed - Woke up and had SHOWERS! WAS SO GOOD TO BE CLEAN! :)
Frew and I went for a little walk along the beach, and then we hit the road and headed to the 12 aposils, London Bridge, Blow Hole etc... weather was AWESOME! There was some Ace Ventura moves pulled by emma and I, et some TOTAL bogans, and many MANY photos where taken!
Wed night we ended up in Warnambool... had dinner in a pub, a round of pool that took about 45mins! while some poor blokes where waiting to use the table.. (emz sunk the white ball about 10 times in 10 minSs! hee hee ) and we headed to a caravan park and camped with some Victorian dudes who had Thai Whiskey & german fire works! Meanwhile, the fire works didnt work, so we went to bed.. Thursday went on Tree top walk.. COLDEST PLACE EVER And I have not been that scared in my WHOLE life! but it was cool! great view!
Hit the road to Princess Margaet Rose Caves just near Mt Gambier.... no GUANO or bats tho! DEVIL BIRD!

Insulted a few Pommies about Hendrix I think it was or something, and drove to Mt Gambier to the Blue Lake! WHICH IS AMAZING! It is a lake on top of an old volcano! it was SO blue!

Then headed to Adelaide where we stayed with AWESOME Craigs Family and drank Spumantie and chatted in teh warmth!

Woke, took scoobs to the Docs, After a GREAT night sleep listening to SOMEONE SNORE! Not mentioning any names!! ;)

And then hit up the rundle Mall! Clothes where bought and I went to the Adelaide Banks Head Office in the rain... bought an unbrealla.. chemist lady tried to rip me off.. I told her to go jump! then walked to the bank, met the crew and went to the NICEST place EVER for lunch! Richmond Hotel! BEST FOOD EVER!
Had my first NZ wine... not bad at all.. and chatted to my clients for a bit.. then booked into our hotel Oaks Horizons! Had a Spa, Sauna, Steam room... BEST ARVO EVER!

TOTALLY RECCOMEND IT! Best place to stay in Adelaide! That night we went to China Tow, had some AWESOME Itallian Again.. and then hit up a pub called Alma Hotel!
Got in and had some Champers on the house as Craigs Bro worked there... and Frew and I chatted to Photo boy for a bit... we then left the crew and caught up with Ginge and Benno in the city.. went to the London Tav... danced.. had a few double blacks ( which tasted like cat pee ) and then walked around town, TRYING to find a kebab shop... got lost.. and then went into the Skycity and tried to find Bill Zane ( Bali Boy ) and just had weges with Ginge & Benno.. then crashed in bed!

Got up and took back the vans ( SO SAD.. THEY WHERE SO COOL ) and made our way back to the hotel where we had a feed, and then went on a wine tour up through the Barossa Valley with Craig and his family! BEST DAY! The wines where great.. food was fabbo, music was awesome ( apart from the first place we went too.. some werid wiggle wannabe! ;) )

Got a little tipsy.. thought we saw Ryan Reynolds! HUBBA HUBBA! And then stopped off at THE GUNGALIN HOTEL AND TERRYS TRUCK STOP!
Frew was BESIDE herself! :)
had a drink there and then came home.. stopped off at a GREAT bottleo, got some wine, and then headed back to the hotel!

Got changed, then headed over to the boys place... rolled up, caught up with All the Bali boys and met some new Adeladian ones, had some drinks, made some calles to champs Paulie, Drew & Sharni... then we HIT THE TOWN! YAY!

We went to a few places.. I kinda remember Frew and I talking to some bloke in the bottleo... and yeah... to cut a long sotry short.. there was much dancing, then we left the boys and flew to the Alma Bar where the Dave guy off McClouds daughters was. got to have a chat with him, and got his photo ( with his all time fan frew) then went to a few other bars with Craig and some of his mates, and then hit the hay cause the weather was SO foul! Drizzling yucki weather.. but all in all a great night! :)

Sunday, slept in... cleaned the unit... packed up.. and THEN SAW LOGAN DAVID FROM BB05! He is such a short little shrimp! Went and had brecky down Hindmarsh st I think it was called... FOULEST brecky ever! But was good to have a relax!
Then caught the taxi to the airport and the rest is history!

oohh had the BEST hot chocolate in the air port there EVER!
The cabbie told us a few sories about Adelaide.. he was a tad strange!

But a HUGE thanks goes out to all hte crew who came on the trip, and all the people who cruised with us ot make it one of the BEST roadys EVER!

Next Roady... UP THE WHITSUNDAYS! YEAH BABY!

Now THIS is going to be good!! :) More Wicked camper adventures to come! :)
